ACTING TEACHER

Amy’s goal as an educator is to support her students in keeping an open heart, striving for excellence, and finding the joy in the work. She loves to bear witness to her student’s growth not only as artists but as human beings. As a teacher Amy creates a space where an artist feels safe to grow and take risks.

BIOGRAPHY

Amy Marcs is an actor, writer, producer, Meisner teacher and a SAG-AFTRA member. She has performed in theaters across the US and can also be seen in many independent films and heard in numerous national network commercials. She studied the Meisner technique for ten years at the Fred Kareman Studio in NYC and was a Professor of Acting specializing in the Meisner technique for the past 14 years at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. She is currently teaching at TOA in Hollywood California.

Amy co founded Gladiolus Media with Sasha Hawkes. They most recently produced “Iron Skirt Stories “ in LA which ran for 3 months to sold out crowds.
